TrimTake ("we," "us," or "TrimTake") operates trimtake.com and the related video cleanup service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. We try to keep this short and concrete — if anything is unclear, email support@trimtake.com.
Account data. When you sign in, we collect the email address you provide. We use Supabase for authentication. We do not collect passwords because we use email magic links — there is no password to store.
Video files. When you upload a recording, we store it in Supabase Storage so our processing pipeline can read it. We also store the cleaned output file your subscription or pay-per-video purchase produced.
Job metadata. We record the duration of each video, the cleanup mode you chose, the timestamp of upload, the status of processing, and (after you give it) your post-download feedback. We use this to operate the product, calculate monthly minutes, and improve our cleanup quality.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Stripe sends us a customer ID and a record of which products you bought.
Basic analytics. We may collect anonymized usage data — page views, button clicks, error reports — to operate and improve the product. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
Raw uploads are deleted from our storage after your job completes — typically within an hour, never longer than 48 hours.
Cleaned output files are kept for 30 days after you download them so you can re-download if needed. After that they are deleted automatically. If you want your output deleted sooner, email support@trimtake.com.
Your video audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. OpenAI's API terms state they do not use API submissions to train their models. We do not send your video file or transcript to any other third party.
We never sell your data. We do not share your account details, your videos, or your transcripts with advertisers, data brokers, or other companies.
We use a session cookie (set by Supabase) to keep you signed in between page loads. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, or have it deleted, at any time by emailing support@trimtake.com. We aim to respond within five business days. If you delete your account, we delete your account data and any retained output files within 30 days.
TrimTake is not intended for users under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above and notify active users by email. The current version is always at trimtake.com/privacy.
